Jesus is referred to in the Bible as the Lamb of God, yet Trinitarian Christians argue that Jesus is himself God.
In the Book of Revelation, in the penultimate chapter, we find the phrase ‘the Lord God the Almighty and the Lamb’.
How, then, can Jesus be Almighty God?

Just one of many clear examples that Jesus is indeed God – Jesus: I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. Revelation 1:8 God: Thus saith the Lord the King of Israel, and his redeemer the Lord of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God. Isaiah 44:6

Hi Lana, many thanks for your input. I have consulted my Bible. There is nothing in Revelation 1:8 to suggest those are the words of Jesus. As for Isaiah 44:6, you have muddled up the punctuation in the scripture. Once again, it is God speaking and not Jesus. Look for yourself.
You mentioned ‘many clear examples’ so please provide them in the interests of truth and clarity.

Hi Lana. Jesus had God as His father and Mary as His mother, as He was conceived of the Holy Spirit. He obviously identified very strongly with His Father (John 10:30) but also apparently distinguished Himself from God (Mark 10:18). He is referred to as the visible image of the invisible God by Paul (Colossians 1:15) who says the fullness of God dwelt in Him (Colossians 1:19) and as ‘My Lord and my God’ by Thomas (John 20:28). Christian orthodoxy says He is fully God and fully human.
