Greetings, all,
In my Bible reading today, I was struck by how the psalmist prayed for his adversaries to be accursed and suffer shame. This contrasts sharply with the teaching of Jesus, who said we should love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us. I suppose this is why Jesus is set apart as a prophet and teacher, greater than any teacher who preceded him.
I hope that all my readers are well and happy and enjoying a peaceful day. It’s Monday, the beginning of a new week, with new possibilities. How will you be spending your time this week?
I’ve got much tidying and cleaning to do today. My injury is making it difficult for me to keep on top of the regular household chores. I made some enquiries to a couple of local cleaners, but sadly, nothing came of that. I will probably keep looking.
