One day, many years ago, I prayed an important prayer. As a Christian, I had read pamphlets about Islam and the Qur’an but knew very little about Islamic thought. I asked God in a spirit of humility whether or not I should read the Qur’an, and He said that I should.
I have faced criticism from other Christians for the writing I have done about the Qur’an, but reading this Scripture became an important part of my spiritual journey, and some years ago I felt compelled to write a book discussing the similarities and differences between Christianity and Islam in an open-minded and respectful way. The book manifested as Christianity, Islam, and the One True God.
Somebody asked me a very good question after I published the book, which was how I could write a book about Christianity and Islam without including Judaism in the title? My reasoning is explained in the introduction to the book.
If you’re interested in interfaith dialogue and exploring some of the key theological differences between Christianity and Islam, I think you will find this book to be highly enjoyable!
