Steven Colborne's Philosophical Theology Blog

Lots of Exciting News!

Dear all,

I am still in a hospital, though the situation isn’t straightforward because while it feels as though I was sectioned illegally, God is still using my time here in wonderful ways.

I rebuilt my website StevenColborne.com around six times, and then the kind folk at Payhip restored it after I deleted it a seventh time, and then an eighth time, and I’m hoping to leave it up for good this time! I actually really enjoy the process of designing websites so I don’t mind and I know there’s the saying that you ‘get out what you put it’ so if that’s true, maybe there will be some return on my efforts of investment? You never know.

On the website you can find the Book of Mercy featured prominently (available to download and read for free) and sixteen books I have written as paperbacks and eBooks, and also a few hardback editions. There are also two music releases, one from my band Marconi’s Voodoo and one from my more recent project Agony and Ecstasy.

All of my products are available on a ‘pay as you wish / pay what you like basis’ and further details concerning this can be found here.

I am so gutted about how the Internet has been overrun with AI – as a writer I don’t like it at all, and I never use it as part of the process of writing books or articles, because I like my authentic voice to come across. If you are a fellow writer I urge you to steer clear of AI for the same reason.

I have an hour’s leave from the hospital once every day and that is a wonderful opportunity to have a coffee and cigarettes in the open air. Don’t judge a person if you don’t want to be judged yourself. I talk everything through with God.

I would like to begin to interact with more people in the comments on this blog. So if you’re reading this, please leave a comment and tell me the best thing that has happened to you in the last week. For me, it was probably the chat I had with one of the staff on the ward, when I said that whoever cooks the food is doing an amazing job, and I had no idea that it may have been her, but she kind of seemed touched! She’s amazing!

God bless you all and be kind 🙂
